Frequency converter setting parameters are more, each parameter has a certain selection range, the use of individual parameters are often encountered due to improper setting, resulting in the phenomenon of inverter can not work properly, therefore, it is necessary to set the relevant parameters correctly.

I.Control method

That is, speed control, turn distance control, PID control or other ways. After adopting the control method, it is generally necessary to perform static or dynamic identification according to the control accuracy.

II.Minimum operating frequency

That is, the minimum speed at which the motor runs, when the motor runs at low speed, its heat dissipation performance is very poor, and the motor runs at low speed for a long time, which will cause the motor to burn out.

And at low speed, the current in its cable will also increase, which will also cause the cable to heat up.

III.Maximum operating frequency

General inverter maximum frequency to 60Hz, some even to 400Hz, high frequency will make the motor high-speed operation, which is for ordinary motors, its bearings can not be a long time to run over the rated speed, the motor’s rotor can withstand such a centrifugal force.

IV.Carrier frequency

The higher the carrier frequency is set, the higher the harmonic component is, which is closely related to the length of the cable, the heating of the motor, the heating of the cable, the heating of the inverter and other factors.

V.Motor parameters

The inverter sets the power, current, voltage, speed and maximum frequency of the motor in the parameters, which can be obtained directly from the motor nameplate.

IV. Frequency-hopping

At a certain frequency point, there is a possibility of resonance, especially when the whole unit is relatively high; when controlling the compressor, it is important to avoid the compressor’s surge point.

Inverter two or more synchronous control parameter setting method:

Step 1

Prepare two inverters, two wires, and one power supply.

Step 2

Inverter wiring, define the two inverters as master and slave respectively, the master 485A port is connected into the slave 485A port, the master 485B port is connected into the slave 485B port. If there is a third unit, the 485A and 485B of the third unit can be connected to the 485A and 485B ports of the host, if there are more and so on.

Step 3

Inverter parameter setting. The host parameter only needs to modify F05.00 to 6, for selecting free protocol communication; F05.03 is changed to 0 for host address. Slave parameters need to modify F01.00 to 04 for setting communication given; F01.15 to 2 for communication start/stop, F05.00 to 06 for free protocol communication, and F05.03 to 01 for slave address. If there is a third slave, the parameters are the same as the second slave, except that the F05.03 address can not be the same as the second one.

Step 4

Start the master and adjust the frequency at will, the slave frequency will change with the master.
